Full Time Position Location: Billerica, MA Summary: PlumChoice, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer. As a member of the professional services development group, you will develop Java-based applications for use by PlumChoice clients. This is a hands-on development position, reporting to the Professional Services Manager. Responsibilities: * Perform Java programming in order to develop and deliver applications or enhancements according to specification. * Write SQL queries to create reports as required. * Work collaboratively in a team environment. Qualifications: * Strong academic preparation in Computer Science or equivalent. * 0--3 years recent experience in development. * Strong hands-on Java, J2EE development skills * Experience with technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, JavaScript, .NET, C#, Crystal Reports * Experience with e-commerce a plus * Experience with Oracle RDBMS a plus * Excellent communication skills * Knowledge of subversion or other source control methods Requirements: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational and time management skills * Demonstrated professional integrity in dependability and reliability * Attention to detail and ability to prioritize task in order to meet strict deadlines * Ability to exercise independent judgment Education: * BS or BA (or equivalent) in Computer Science or other engineering discipline.
